作文是学生英语水平的体现，作文中包含了文章逻辑，单词，语法等各个方面，对学生考察也是最全面的，大部分学生在英语作文上失分严重。
而且作文不同于听力阅读，多练多听能较快提分，很多学生和家长就发现，作文提分很困难，即使经过很多练习分数依然上不去。

01、确定文章结构
在写作之前，首先要确定整篇文章的行文结构，通常情况下，最合理的一般是三段式叙事。
即在开始部分说明文章要点和核心问题。正文部分围绕主题展开叙述或讨论。结尾部分通常需要对全文的总结和概括。
文章结构设计的时候要注意，全文中心突出，段落之间必须相互关联，内容完整，整体流畅。前后文需要相互呼应，舍弃与主题无关的内容。
02、确定主题句
在了解了行文结构之后，就需要准备一句话作为整篇文章的主题和中心，主旨在文章中起到了“画龙点睛”的作用，通常是在文章开篇，整篇文章都是这句主题句的延伸。
主题句需要注意这两点：
归纳文章中要写的几个要点。
提炼出一句概括性的话。
03、写作技巧
最后也是很重要的一点就是写作技巧，在开始讲写作技巧之前，大家要明白，技巧总归只是技巧，虽然可以让文章整体逻辑清楚，运用更好的句型，但除此之外，很重要的一点就是：积累。
作文是英语考试中考察学生综合能力的部分，是需要学生一定的阅读量和单词基础。
